Happy Childhood Club was established in Balata Camp in 1997 with a temporary permission from the Ministry of Sport and Youth. A research was made then by the founders about children and their needs in the camp. They found out that childhood in the camp doesn’t actually mean what childhood means in anywhere else. The founders decided to set a plan for helping kids get back some of their missing rights. Activities that aim to educating children socially were started.
